Allan is an award-winning composer whose hundreds of orchestral and choral works have been heard all over the Puget-Sound area as well as nationwide in live theater productions, computer games, educational software packages, film, TV commercials, books, websites, dance, sacred music, and the concert hall.

While Allan's main instrument is the piano, he is also a multi-keyboardist that uses his musically expressive and versatile arsenal of keyboards and synthesizers either as substitutes for other instruments, or for what they do best: generate new sounds.

Being an active composer and musician in the Seattle music scene since 1980, he has toured North America in a number of popular and influential local bands, and has served several composer residencies. Allan can also be found sitting in with orchestras, choirs, bands, and as a studio musician for various performing and recording projects.
